Hello everyone!

It’s been a relatively uneventful week at the Index, so I thought I’d take the time to show you some of the photos that didn’t make the cut. For every photo assignment, our photographers turn in as many as 200 photos, which usually means 199 don’t make the print version. Here are a few of this week’s second string.

Students protest Recycling Center changes

Students brought thousands of plastic and glass bottles to the Quad on Thursday afternoon, protesting the discontinuation of glass and plastic recycling at the University Recycling Center. The public drop-off service will also close. Junior Emily Love said University President Troy Paino agreed to meet with students Wednesday to discuss possible solutions for the Recycling Center.
